Hi everyone! Welcome to another episode of The Art Of Ministry!
Currently, the economic situation in many countries is posing a challenge. And for Christian artists, we're often looking for ways to create our art inexpensively. So it seemed a good idea to make an episode centred on just that: looking at the best free or low cost digital tools for creating gospel-centred art!
The breadth of this subject is immense, so this episode looks at some of the most prominent examples that could benefit listeners.
As stated in the episode, you may find these tools can help you to make art and creative pieces for church, parachurch organisations, you own blog posts, and so on. A secondary benefit is that you might even be able to use them at your workplace... and perhaps a conversation might start up where you can share your other artistic output, even opening up gospel conversations and opportunities!
You are always welcome to suggest other tools on our Facebook page. Join the conversation! We'd love to hear from you.
May the Lord bless you this week!
God bless, Jon (The Art of Ministry)

Welcome to Episode 5 of 'The Japan Diaries', the final episode of this series, covering The Art of Ministry's visit to the wonderful country of Japan!
This fifth episode covers the visit to World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai. Over 25 million people visited the World Expo from around the world, a place where art and innovation were present in abundance.
Journey with me through complex artistic sculptures, futuristic new vehicles, and explorations of new technologies. All the time I am asking; "What is the Christian perspective in what I am seeing today?"
At the end of this episode is a summary of my thoughts around this Japan visit, and what I feel might be some important takeaways for the church.
Thank you for listening to The Japan Diaries!

Welcome to Episode 4 of 'The Japan Diaries', covering The Art of Ministry's visit to the wonderful country of Japan!
This fourth episode covers a visit to the very artistic Universal Studios, home of Peanuts, Hello Kitty, Jaws, Minions, and much more.
Come with me as I walk through Super Nintendo World, visit Lucy's cafe table at Snoopy Restaurant, and watch plenty of "kabooms" go off in the Waterworld Arena. The whole time I'm asking... what is this place? And what lessons can I learn from this environment that can advance the gospel?
One thing's for sure, this is a very unique place!
Look out for new episodes of 'The Japan Diaries' as they appear!

A visit is then made to Nagoya Legoland... yes, the land of coloured bricks... and taking in creative sculptures made entirely of Lego!
The second part of the journey covered in this episode is taking in Kyoto, a place of wild bamboo wilderness areas, a scenic train ride through forested rivers, and the beauty of Kyoto Botanic Gardens. Truly the beauty of God's creation is on show.

Welcome! We're so glad to see you!

Lochy and I would love you to be part of this community of people interested in Christian ministry and the arts, who desire to use our gifts and talents to share the gospel.

We have diverse guests on our show from all kinds of different artistic backgrounds and endeavours: they have expert advice, strategies and insights that will help you to be the best artist you can be and, most of all, find creative ways to share the Good News about Jesus Christ in church and evangelistic contexts.

Oh... and I should also say... we have a LOT of laughs and hilarity on this show, so expect to get the giggles. That's kind of how we do things here. We can't wait to have you on board!
